Covid-19 and Amaleik

If covid wasn't enough as is, it seems to be favoring amaleikim.

On the other hand, in Iran, virulent anti-semitism is not a guaranteed protection, because lots of the leadership of Revolutionary Guard are dying.
Unless they're all Israeli spies....
So I'm having trouble coming up with a unified theory. It is possible that the protection is race related, that it relates to Amaleiki ancestry, not with mere anti-semitism. It could be that the Iranians are just motivated by religion and nationalism, but are not of the Amaleiki bloodline.

Antisocial people have less social contact even without Physical Distancing. (The WHO-approved alternative term for "Social Distancing", which implies psychologically damaging behavior that modern telecom makes unnecessary.)

So, a pandemic does have the paradoxical result of punishing healthy and tightly knit communities the most.

As for the numbers from the UK:

Clearly we are more tightly connected and possibly, have a larger average family size. (More kids in school means more classmates, more classmates' parents, etc...)

The O community in particular has this problem. We saw it in the measles outbreak. Yes, we had too many anti-vaxxers, but not ridiculously more than those around us. BUT, we need a much higher compliance rate in order for herd immunity to kick in.

Take the median chareidi family. 6 to 8 kids and their friends, and their classmates, and the friends' and classmates' parents... And those classmates also average more siblings... And dad is in shul regularly, with other dads who average those 6 to 8 kids... This is so much more social interaction then the rest of the UK. Or the US. Geometrically so, because you are interacting with more people who average more interactions, and so on...

The more liberal arm of Mod-O has more than the general norm of fewer than 2. And with the network growing by the same proportion with each hop, that too is a hugely greater number of contacts than the rest of society. (If not as extreme as the Chareidi case.)

More social interactions, and mostly from within a limited group, you need a higher percentage of people immunized, or in today's case even tighter physical distancing, to get the same effect.
